| Abstract | This work describes a study of the bidirectional reflectance factor of a natural surface ("batatais" grass sample)as function of different view and illumination angles. The measurements were made at INPE Radiometry Laboratory using a Spectron SE-590 spectroradiometer. Analysing the data using polar coordinate graphs to plot the bidirectional reflectance factor for the bands one to four of TM Landsat sensors, the authors notes that the grass sample has an anisotropic behaviour for all configuration, and the anisotropy increasing according to principally the source's zenith angle. | |||
